The Ludlow Residents Association is part of the Ludlow Dementia Action Alliance, which is working towards making Ludlow a Dementia friendly Community. That isn't the same as being Dementia Friends ourselves. Take a look at the Dementia Friends online videos to see what we can all do to become more dementia friendly:

Our organisation code is Chu8164. This is a unique code any of you can use to access the Dementia Friends videos.

Click here and when prompted enter the code, the number of new people watching at that time, and the postcode from where you are watching.

Important: the Alzheimer's Society do not take names, just numbers of people watching.

There are a number of local agencies and services to support those with dementia and their carers:

The Alzheimer's Society provides personalised dementia support locally and runs a monthly     dementia cafe at St Peter's Parish    Centre.

The local NHS Trust has a memory clinic.

Hagley Place runs a number of activities open to non-residents with dementia and their carers    (Knit and     natter, hairdresser, art     class, singalongs, tea parties, a monthly lunch club etc).

Hands Together Ludlow has volunteers trained to assist in the home and runs a lunch club.

Age UK provides advice and support.

The library has a variety of resources to help those caring for people with dementia.

There is a programme of dementia friendly events at the Assembly Rooms.
